About Us

Julie Charette has been a Music Therapist in York Region for nearly 20 years, working primarily with children, teens and young adults with disabilities and neurodiversities.

Julie completed her Bachelors of Music Therapy with Honours at the University of Windsor followed by a 1000 hour internship working with children with disabilities, autism and neurodiversities. Since she started her practice in York Region she has partnered with the York Region District School Board, the Down Syndrome Association of York Region, Autism Ontario - York Chapter, Early Intervention Service, Children’s Treatment Network, Kayla’s Children Centre, Community Living York South, York Region Preschool Speech and Language as well as hundreds of individual families in the area.
